1 1/2 cups rice
4-5 cloves of garlic, minced
4 tbsp butter
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 tsp seasoning salt + more to taste
1 tsp chicken bouillon powder
3 cups water
In a saucepan over medium heat add 4 tbsp butter or other fat. Add minced garlic and saute for just a minute.
Add 1/2 tsp salt and 1/2 tsp seasoning salt & 1 tsp chicken bouillon powder.
Turn heat to med-high and add 1 1/2 cups rice.
Saute for a few minutes while rice browns.
Add 3 cups water to pan. Cover and bring to a boil. Turn heat down to low and let simmer for 17 minutes. Remove from heat but leave the lid on. The rice needs to sit for a few minutes.
